Thank you very much. I appreciate the offer. I wasn't concerned about anyone bothering me. Maybe next time.

Re: Swarm 7
Now I have to apologize for us. About an hour ago my esposa started having some serious stomach upset. We are bowing out at the very last minute with abject apologies to CB and Hacienda Ajijic.
Bummer!

I'll bet it was and I see y'all managed to bring the sun out too. Turns out she had a reaction to eating tomatoes and then taking Plavik. Too much acidity. She's feeling fine now and annoyed she didn't get her steak.

It was a great function, the place has a new owner and they are trying even harder to provide great food at a great price.
Edit: I should say they have a new invester, co-owner

I had great fun today at the SWARM met a very nice (and pretty) woman from Nashville Tenn. She may be moving down permanently.

Re: Swarm 7
John,
I had a Rib Eye steak well done with steamed veggies and bread. They gave me two steaks and they both were really, really good! Then after we all eat the owner/waiter let all of us know we all could have one drink on the house. Complements from them, I had coffee. I'll be going back.

good time at swarm
Swarm 7 was a good time for us, we enjoyed the company at the table, the conversation was fascinating as usual, and good to see more happy faces coming out to the swarms.
The friend we brought with us had a good time and will probably be checking in on the forum from now on to see about future swarms.
I had the fillet and am sorry to say I had to return it because it was severely under cooked, and after they cooked it some more and returned it to me, it was still bloody, it should have really gone back a second time. I noticed I was not the only one at the table who had to return a steak for the same reason. The flavor was excellent and I wish I could get my bar-b que to produce that good a flavor. My wife had a fillet as well and loved every bite of it. We both thought there could have been more then three small pieces of broccoli/cauliflower on each plate for a vegetable.
We will definitely be back there to give it another try.
Bring on Swarm #8 we will be there.

Re: Swarm 7
I have ordered steak from several different restaurants in Mexico in my short time being here.
A few of them were rather high class 5 star in Guadalajara and there is one common thing that I feel “may” hold true at least for me.
(your millage may differ)
It seems as compared to what I am use to, the steaks are cooked one or two less than what the NOB people are use to.
I like mine Medium to Medium-Rare NOB, so I order my steaks Well or Medium-Well down here.
Then they are pretty close to what I like.

Re: Swarm 7
I ordered my rib eye medium rare & got it medium rare...no problem. The potato wasn't that great, but getting a decent Idaho baker down here seems next to impossible.
