Yeah, OSHA, and all the BS from up north, people suing and getting rich, burning themselves with coffee and getting millions, welfare, etc.

Mexico is the land of rational thinkers, act stupid and die and you are out of the gene pool.

Ya, we're pretty stupid. We should all go back to the US, trip and fall somewhere and sue for big bucks, hide the dough in our mattress down here so we never have to be concerned of retirment funds again :)

I wish I had taken a picture of the scene I saw in Ajijic one day: There was a kid (16-17 years old?) up on a ladder that wasn't propped against anything! His support was a man on the sidewalk, holding the ladder vertical!

I just had a safety guy staying at my place. I tried to embarrass him for what he was doing to the gene pool. Most of what I said went over his head. I think maybe his father was saved at some point before breeding season.

I made it this far on sheer luck, not smarts nor safety guys. Hooray for Darwin!

At work a few years back, an independent contractor fell from a 20 foot ladder. They called the Green Cross, from what they tell me, and it took 6 hours for an ambulance to get there and take him to IMSS . He had a broken pelvis and femur and clavicle. I guess the law prevented helping him
Luckily I was in DF that day. He didn't even have a helper to hold the ladder vertical as they do in the circus. Next day I raised the ladder, and the only way it could get near the ceiling was by being almost vertical.
I see so many work place safety violations in some Mexican "changarros.
There is a Mexican version of OSHA, of course, they are easily paid off.
