Lakeside Crime announced their closing several day ago. If you go to the site you can read all about it.

Look up on this page to the links listed immediately below the picture. On the second line on the left hand sign is the link " Lakeside Crime ". Left-click thereon and you will get the message mentioned above. You know

"Lakeside Crime has closed temporarily

and will reopen June 1 under new ownership"

whatever that means :)

That means someone new has agreed to take over Lakesidecrime.com. It is not a chat group and they stay away from rumors and try to substantiate information posted on local crimes. It's very different than the chat groups where anyone can post anything, depending on the moderator.
