Status on Rain

What's the status on rain?
Looks like someone got some yesterday according to Steve's weather site.
Have the rains begun?

1.25 inches top of the Raquet Club in San Juan Cosala last night. Began just before midnight and on and off until about 7am Sunday morning.

rained over here in san cristobal on the south side starting about 7pm last night when it came down in buckets for a short while. then started again about midnight, as ronnie said, with great, long roooooooooooolling thunder (i think i timed one at 12 seconds....a long time for one thunderclap) and lightning, and also rained until about 7am this morning, i guess. (i actually slept for a few hours in there!)

cloudy again today....so maybe the rains have started. hard to say if this is the actual beginning. sometimes we get a good storm, but then nothing for several days until the rains really start. but hopefully we're close....very close!

The rainy season typically commences the second week of June. Last nights rainfall was over an inch. I'd say the rainy season has begun! I for one am happy to see it.

Maybe someone can take me a nice picture of lightening over the lake. I'll put it up as the header pic.

We could get another storm tonight, there's a lot of big clouds to the E/SE.

Good call David and good grief, had to peel the cat off the ceiling at 4:30 a.m. when a thunder clap shook the brick walls and the dog went poopies. 7 a.m. now and it's still raining cats and... never mind.
