Drug Kingpins Living in the Lap of Luxury

We have all seen news stories and photos of some of the luxurious palaces and estates built by some of the cartel bigwigs. Apparently things are changing according to the following story:

It would be naive to think that they don't maintain nice quarters somewhere - maybe even NOB. But from the descriptions in this article, I wouldn't find these living conditions worthwhile in the pursuit of the almighty buck!

im sure they do this P/T. then take it easy in bel air, beverly hills. they live near the arabs in those newer homes. it sounds like a propaganda article. like "this is what you get for high level deals" "crime dosn't pay" thats like nancy reagan saying "just say NO"

The drug king pins are living in the lap of luxury in estates in AZ, NM, TX and CA just like the Russian Mob lives in palatial estates in Toronto. Every once in awhile someone drives by with a machine gun trying to kill one of the mob bosses. Not to successful when you live in a stone fortress.

Don't need that. We live in THE SAFEST Community in Ajijic. We don't live on the streets of Ajijic or Chapala.

John I just read a rather disturbing article in the LA Times about Temecula CA if your still hoping to move there.

Please tell. When I lived there, it was super-suburbia, in a benign way.

Maybe they'll start living in Chapala / Ajijic and be "slummin it"

Just an article in the Times about some poor girl found walking around naked and eating out of trash cans in Temecula,I should never have brought it up in the first place,sorry.
