The Hole-in-One driving range near the Chula Vista golf course recently started serving excellent dinners on Sunday and Monday evenings. One of the Chefs from #4 does the cooking. We went there last night with another couple. The food was superb! I had the lamb shanks which were Moroccan style, two had the chicken pasta, and one the Filet. All were excellent as was the service. Good wine list too! He's doing breakfast on the weekends too. Give it a try, you'll not be disappointed.

Also after hours on weekends it is a nightclub and there is a DJ.

Inexpensive. I think the Lamb Shanks were $140, Chicken/Pasta $120, wine was reasonable too, especially for such an extensive list.

That sounds very reasonable. We got dinged $320 per plate for rack of lamb at Ajijic Steakhouse in March. We should have asked the price of the special before we ordered it.......

Rack of lamb is always expensive here, they're all imported New Zealand lamb. Apparently there's no domestic source for racks, chops yes, racks no. Everytime I've seen it on a menu it's costly, though delicious. However, I don't like surprises.
