LAKE TACO ----YUM
I was out shopping with a friend today and she needed gas. Went to the Pemex on the Libramento and I noticed that the Lake Taco place at the back of the property was full of diners. It was lunchtime, so we tried it. Nice, helpful guys running it; clean place under a palm frond palapa, breakfast and lunch menu; open till 5 pm.
We each had a burrito (around 50 pesos) which was huge. Mine was fish: hers was chopped sirloin; both were delicious. Barely finished it. No beans in ours: some do and some don't have beans. All kinds of condiments available. The next table was having fish and chips the old fashioned way (beer batter) and malt vinegar was on the condiments bar, along with almost anything else you can think of. The place stayed busy, and no wonder. The tacos looked good, too.
I'll be back!!!

It's a very popular place, also very consistent and really tasty. One of our favourites.
It used to be quite breezy but they have put up either glass or acrylic panels that don't impare the view but sure make it warmer.

That's true CG but after living on the coast for six years, everything feels cold here in Ajijic, even in the summer. On the coast, there's just hot and hotter. We'll probably be fully adjusted by June.

On TOB, the owner posted that he had some coupons which can be downloaded from his Facebook page and freely distributed to one and all.
These were for mahi mahi tacos. Three for two until 3/15.
Such a deal.
