Taking Fotos in Shops Empty Taking Fotos in Shops

Post by CheenaGringo Sat Jan 14, 2012 9:23 pm

For years, shops in Tlaquepaque and Tonala were fairly liberal about taking fotos of their products. During our August trip, we noticed many more "No Fotos"signs and even more this trip. We have always tried to be respectful and asked about taking pictures but it seems that they are getting more progressively hardcore. In Tonala, I got yelled at for taking pictures from the sidewalk of the front of a store and appologized to the guy yelling at me. While I can certainly understand that they may wish to protect their designs, they may just be carrying the concept to an extreme.

Just a word of warning about this issue.
