This on Lakesidecrime.com - December 18 - Death of 4 Univ of Guad students and 1 parent after they went to the Federation of Guadalajara Students’ (FEG) headquarters. They went to complain that the student group was demanding too much protection money for allowing him to sell snacks outside a high school campus. The FEG is being investigated for the deaths.
MEXICO CITY 12/17/2011 - Thousands of people demonstrated in the Mexican city of Guadalajara to seek justice for the murder of four students and the father of one of them, whose bodies were found this week in two mass graves. The silent march was held from the rectory of the University of Guadalajara, the principal house of higher education in that city, and the seat of government of the State of Jalisco. The demonstration was led by the university president, Marco Antonio Cortes. Many of the participants were dressed in white and some holding candles, according to images broadcast on television. The protest is linked with the appearance of five bodies in two mass graves found in facilities Guadalajara Student Federation (EGF) on Wednesday and last Thursday. The victims were four students and the father of one of them, selling churros, who had come to the headquarters of the FEG to order the reduction of the fee paid by the merchant to the student union to place his place at the door of a school. Identified all coincide with the event officials confirmed that the two remaining unidentified bodies, found yesterday, Thursday, are the churros vendor's Armando Gomez, 56, and his son Ishmael, 21. they identified the other three students whose bodies were found last Wednesday in a separate grave. One of them was 17 and the other two 16. These three students died of stab wounds, but the churros vendor and his son were killed by shots to the head. The prosecuting authorities in Jalisco said at the headquarters of FEG was found a pistol and several shell casings and blood stains in the office building. The killing of four students and the churros vendor has been met with outrage signals in academia and government of Jalisco. The student union, which fall on the suspicion of the crime, denied any involvement in the events, although it has been previously accused of violent actions and to extort money from street vendors.

Maybe in fact it was a lot more than that. That is why Dr. Luz is not longer a vet practicing lakeside and Marina of Marina's spa and hotel left and went back to the US.

FEG isn't an acronym for one of the drug cartels.

According to the papers the investigation has taken a new turn. Local merchants are saying that the adult victim had actually been collecting protection money for the FEG.

The last theory makes a whole lot more sense. It would explain whay the top of the FEG left town and are refusing to appear as well.
