Pewter
Pewter is another of those products that Mexico is know for. Going back seven or eight years ago, it was a product that we thought we might want to import to the US. After touring a number of manufacturing facilities and reading up on all of the FDA regs on food safety, we decided that this wasn't an area we wanted to venture enter into.
That said there is some incredible pewter available in Tonala. Our personal favorite is: http://www.analuciapewter.com/catalogo/products_new.php
After exiting the carretara, you take the first right at the traffic light and it will be on you right side within a block or so: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Tonal%C3%A1+Centro,+Tonal%C3%A1,+Ja,+Mexico&hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=20.618787,-103.249286&spn=0.003766,0.006437&hnear=Tonal%C3%A1+Centro,+Tonal%C3%A1,+Jalisco,+Mexico&t=m&z=17&vpsrc=6&layer=c&cbll=20.618742,-103.249563&panoid=6wLSUgL6nL8pJp-wtv55pA&cbp=12,2.51,,0,9.51
They have a great selection and superb pricing! If one pays in cash and purchases multiple items, they extend a nice discount but you may have to ask for it.
There is a shop in Tlaquepaque that caters to the Gringo Market but you will see higher prices: http://www.annkary.com.mx/
Just a suggestion and take it for what it is worth for you personally!

Ana Lucia is indeed one of the best. But we also like this other one:

A little harder to find, but worth it!

We visited your suggested pewter shop today and were quite impressed with many of their unique products! No question in our minds that between these two stores, one probably has as good of a selection of pewter to be found anywhere. Your suggested store does have a website: http://www.flove.com.mx/ini/index.htm
