Ajijic Water Well Pump Out of Service

SIMAPA informa que el pozo #3 de Ajijic presenta un daño en el motor de la bomba.
Por tal motivo el servicio quedó suspendido en la zona centro de Ajijic.
Ya estamos atendiendo esta falla presentada la mañana de este sábado 16 de noviembre. Esperando poder restablecer el servicio hoy sábado por la noche.
Lamentamos los inconvenientes que este genere y agradecemos su paciencia.

For this reason the service was suspended in the central area of Ajijic.
We are already attending this faila presented the morning of this Saturday, November 16. Looking forward to resuming service today Saturday night.

We live a couple blocks east of LCS.  Our aljibe looks 3/4’s full.  The feed from SIMAPA is just a trickle….

I wonder if SIMAPA actually has spare pumps in their inventory for expected emergencies? Or do they order a replacement only after a pump has failed?

It's more likely they have to go fetch a part in Guadalajara?? Added issue of this being a Holiday Weekend.

No updates at the Gobierno's FB page.

We live right next door to the LCS and haven't been affected here. Garden hose (which is connected directly to city service) has full pressure.
