TV And Audio Quallity
I recently bought a Samsung 43" flat screen and use a recently-bought amazon firestick. The audio is deplorable on a lot of movies (Netflix, Prime Amazon, etc.) The audio on live broadcasts, such as the news and sporting events, etc, is pretty good, and is decent on a few movies that I take from my movie apps, but overall, is lousy. Sometimes I have to quit watching a movie that I really want to see because it is so darned hard to understand.
I am a real movie freak but very disgusted with this audio problem.
Does adding a sound bar enhance (improve) the audio, or would it just amplify the same crappy audio???

Are you listening directly from the TV speakers or are you running it through a system?

I also have a 43" Samsung (UN43MU6100FXZX) and added a Sonos Beam (2). Sound has improved immensely. Dialogue is enhanced and ATMOS produces great sounds if source has it. The Firestick is compatible with ATMOS.

Plan B, at $500 the sound SHOULD be good. The TV didn't cost that much!
I find that rank and file Samsung TVs have poor speaker quality... and I have several of them. But forking out another $500 to get decent sound constitutes corporate thievery.

I appreciate that the Sonos Beam is expensive, however there are soundbars costing much more. The sound experience is worth the cost for me since it adds a whole new dimension to the movies and general tv watching. I guess it's like people who drive a Nissan vs a Mercedes, it all comes down to what you what and are willing to pay. I could tell you about high end stereo equipment and some of those costs...some speakers in the $200K - $1,000,000 and amplifiers in the same price bracket. Too rich for me...
