Costco Riberas
We shopped at Costco Riberas today and I was pleasantly surprised. They had many things of a larger size such as cereal's, coffee, paper prducts and many other things. A good display of fresh vegetables and fruit, also refrigerated dairy products. Store was very clean and they had good prices. Store is west of Food Container on the carreterra.

Wonder if the real Costco minds when a business uses its trademarked name?
Or @rafterbr, is that just a name you made up for it?

Re: Costco Riberas
It is FRESH MARKET with a secondary smaller sign indicating that they sell Costco products. It is one block away from me and I went by it twice this morning.

rafter- Lots of places buy things at Costco and resell them. That doesn't make it "a Costco". Costcos are enormous stores and are all basically the same. As far as I'm aware, they don't run small outlets.

There's a great eatery right across from the airport in PV called Tacon de Marlin. They also have a branch in town. Fantastic giant burritos.
So when I saw a branch in the food court in the Walmart complex in Mezcales, I was happy and sat down and ordered. It was awful- not only was the area dirty, with uncleaned tables and used napkins all over the floor, the burrito itself was nothing like what I was used to from them. it was sloppy wet, like they had just taken the marlin straight out of the freezer and thrown it on the grill.
So I was planning on telling the main branch in PV the next time I went in that they needed to do some quality control on that outlet.
But the next time I went there, they had a sign on the wall saying that the "Tacon de Marlin" in the Walmart complex had nothing to do with them and had stolen their name. The fake one used exactly the same signage, same colors, font, everything. I haven't checked back to see if the real establishment made them shut down or change their name.

Are you aware of the original name that (now) Scallion restaurant used? It was Spago Ajijic.
Wolfgang Puck put an end to that pretty fast.

I stand corrected. The store has two entrances with sign above each entrance, on one side it says Fresh Market and on other COSTCO. Signs are approximately the same size. I went in the COSTCO side and didn't pay attention to the other.
