Water Supply Issue in Ajijic

AVISO IMPORTANTE
Debido a las fallas presentadas en la red general de distribución de CFE, hay bajo voltaje en la zona.
Por lo cual se recomendó apagar las bombas de los pozos que suministran agua potable en Ajijic.
Estamos en espera de las indicaciones por parte de CFE, para poder restablecer el servicio de agua.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
Due to the failures reported in the general CFE distribution network, there is low voltage in the area.
Therefore it was recommended to switch off the pumps from the wells that supply drinking water in Ajijic.
We are waiting for directions from CFE, to be able to restore water service.

I could never figure out what they mean in Mexico when they call it "agua potable". I don't know anyone who drinks unfiltered tap water here, including the Mexicans.

I drink unfiltered tap water and have for 11 years. The water is of course from the wells in Chula Vista.

Yes, I can understand if it comes from a source that's been tested as safe to drink and you know it isn't running through any lead pipes.
