FLU SHOTS
Are flu shots readily available lakeside? Up here in Seattle, there is a two-week waiting list at my nearest pharmacy. I want a flu shot but I would rather come back home and get one lakeside than wait another two weeks.
Thanks in advance for any advice you may have.

Re: FLU SHOTS
Rumors on FB of, "sometime in October." Which sounds about right.
There was no shortage of the quadrivalent last year; the year before it was scarce at least initially. The trivalent is given at the public Centros de Salud.
For those of us 65+ who used to get the flu shot in US, we were given quadrivalent. I am watching a few local health sites and will post if I hear more.

Re: FLU SHOTS
Hey, good news. I just phoned my doctor's office here in Seattle and they told me to walk over to the office and get a shot later this afternoon. Being a mild hypochondriac, I always get my shots ASAP. The office is 4 or 5 blocks away. A good exercise walk for this lazy old man :)
