Looking for EPSON black ink 544

I tried to order black ink for an EPSON ecotank printer from amazon.com.mx and it is not listed so I'm assuming that it is not in stock.
Does anyone know where I can buy this ink at Lakeside? I tried Walmart but they were out of it.

No idea but if you're in Ajijic try the printer supply shop across from Manix's. They have a lot of odds and ends for printers.

Maybe you could order from office max or Costco on line. Or Walmart online delivered to our local store.

Yes. Order the correct ink for your printer. I have googled generic ink but the printer is smart. Apparently there are certain metallic particles in the ink that the printer can detect and it will reject the generic or not the number ink for your printer. I may be wrong about the metallic particles but there is something in the ink that a printer requires when a different number ink is used the printer computer rejects it. Best to get the ink recommended for your printer or you could end up with a real mess.

Do not buy the refillables. Not worth your money and, as stated sm1mex, your printer may reject them.

I finally found the black refill this afternoon at the shop across and down the street from Manix restaurant. I'm a happy camper now. Thanks everyone for your suggestions.
