Anthurium plant

Looking for nurseries selling them.

I don't know, but.....following!

I used to send a dozen every Christmas to my favorite aunt in Pennsylvania until she died at age 92 several years ago. I got them from a Hawaiian nursery.

Yea!! This is it. Easy to raise in a pot in the shade so my research indicates.

What colours do they have available? My girls have free run of the front courtyard so I'm careful what I put out there but I also have two interior courtyards that they don't go into. Have lots of green but would like some colour in the centre courtyard which has shade cloth over it.

You’ re correct about Anthurium plants for sale at Vivero San Antonio (“the one behind Super Lake”). These are cool season plants, however. Ask Sra. Angela, who owns Vivero San Antonio: she knows plant taxonomy, and she’ll be able to tell you either where the Anthuriums are located (hint: under the canopy near the ferns and orchids) or when she’ll get a shipment. Sra. Angela is a rock star!

They had white, magenta, red, and chocolate. We bought a beautiful red one. Very healthy with 5 red flowers and one ready to open for 250. We have a perfect place on the back porch in the shade indirect lighting.
