Where to get rid of plant material Empty Where to get rid of plant material

I had major pruning done on Ficus trees and have about 20 large bags of garbage to get rid of. Too much for local garbage collector. The nearest dump (Jocotepec) is closed. What can I do with it?

Since it is organic, find someone with an empty lot or farmland that's not being used, dump it, and let it decay. Aren't there also some people who do composting?
Maybe someone reading here will know.

Not legal to dump on another's property.  And ficus has white, latex sap that no one would want for their compost pile.

Of course, should have said with permission, that's what I was implying.
Not good for composting?, good to know. I have been throwing ficus branches into the composting pile for a long time.

I have also been told it wasn't good for composting.

The only good thing a Ficus tree is good for..rapid growth...then why do folks always seem to plant them under telephone or CFE lines Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

There's something growing in my yard I'm intent on killing.......naturally.......slowly.

Actually, I'd like it to suffer. Is your compost bagged? Do you deliver?

I just gave it to a disliked neighbor for his vegetable garden.
He's happy and so am I.
