7/10 of an inch in west SJC. The most by far this season here. Maybe the rainy season has started.

1.27 inches Ajijic Centro.  Sounded like hail mixed in with it.  Started around 8 then stopped at 9.  Power went out at 9:01  Rain last night 1f61f

Power came back around 2am.  It rained again during middle of night, but not stormy.

Wonderfully clear this am...here is pic from local weather cam.Rain last night Lakeca11

Wind is currently offshore on the west coast. Unlikely that either disturbance will have an effect on us here. Most of our rainy season weather comes from the east.

Actually, the power came on again briefly at 1 a.m. then another loud pop and a sizzle. Fifteen minutes later I heard a truck park outside my house and then the CFE bucket truck showed up... They cut tree branches from the NE corner of Pedro Moreno and Independencia until 2 and then the rain started up again. At least they pulled the branches off the street but I wonder if they'll return and cut a lot more.
Nothing like the sound of electric saws to lull you back to sleep.

If they form into Tropical Depressions (likely) or gain strength up to CAT1 hurricane status, they can absolutely affect us - the rain will be spread out over large areas. Low-level, local winds will be easily overridden...
