Chapala . com

T O B is not opening for me, anyone else having this happen?

Now it just came on my phone so checked computer, it is back on..

It was taking forever this morning in Seattle. I thought the problem was because I am so far away. I guess not. Well it's working now :)

I post as kiko on this board and Chapala.com.  Chapala.com was hacked this week and all of my personal data was integrated with some other member's profile.  Not that I care much since I do not have any dark secrets, but whatever.  I posted that the moderator/administrator could delete my account if necessary to resolve the hack problem  Then I wake up today and find that that they changed my username.  Not one message from the admin/mod about wtf was going on despite the fact that it was my personal data that was shared in the public.

Sorry for the rant but this just sucks.  I seriously doubt if this would have been the response of admin/mod here on insidelakeside.

Well, I am blocked on Chapala.com. I've sent emails to admin and the reply is that I am back on....but that is certainly not true.....SO, I guess I will appear more often on here. I admit that I was too lazy to give up fully on TOB, especially when I began to recently get " likes" from Pedro and Mainecoon....now I have to face a non-official banning.....kinda like my bank saying that my signature is not mine .I won't wait to have my medals and official anti-mod uniform recalled....I will just "fade away", but I will keep my sword on the remote chance that I am recalled to those dusty halls of TOB.

Two of my browers shut off access to Chapala.com this week citing security risks. My third browser would let me in but merged my id with someone else so I exited. I realize it is not this board's problem to fix their mess. It is good to know it is not my computer skills. I'll just stay away from there. Not much content I followed anyway.

My VPN blocked access due to security issues. Haven't tried to day

I can't log in either and got the same warning from my browsers earlier in the week. Problem is I really hate logging in EVERY time to InsideLakeside so I guess I wait for Chapala.com to get fixed.

I don't have to log in every time I visit here....check your settings??

fyi, when I went to TOB a few days ago it logged me in as someone else; when I went back, the same thing happened, it logged me into yet another user's account. This happened 3 times (3 different users) and if I had wanted to, I could have read their private messages and could have posted as them. I did neither. I had to assume that it was possible that other users got logged in as me.

I tried again, as well, and I flunked the security check! Well, Chapala.com maybe heading for a real collapse......

The only reason someone would have to log in "every time" would be if they delete their cookies or have it set to automatic deletion of cookies. Yes, occasionally the security system logs everyone out and they have to log in again or the system suspects something is happening and logs someone out. This is for our own protection to prevent bots and hackers. Apparently TOB was hacked for peoples personal info......

I have been restored on TOB so i can now send messages etc.

Wouldn't it be nice to just be restored.... GENERALLY!!!

I'll take about 28YO if it's available.
