Interesting Comparison: Ajijic vs. Boquete, Panama

Saw this link on FB.  Never been to Panama or even heard of this town.

Ajijic vs. Boquete

I knew about Boquete, Panama from reading articles written for International Living. The humidity was a big no for us from the get go. Everyone's different.
I thought the article was very balanced.... but not a single mention of the availability of healthcare. I think the author is on the younger side and it hasn't hit his importance radar yet.
We chose San Miguel de Allende over Boquete and San Miguel has changed a lot so I'll gift Boquete with the same observation.

Spending only 8 nights in Ajijic and years in Boquete is like comparing apples to motor boats. He never pointed out the access to an international airport, world class healthcare and a major metropolitan city. Boquete never even made the top ten on our list when thinking of moving abroad. Besides if I wanted rain all year round I would have stayed in Vancouver......lol.

BTW C-Bob, he kind of mentioned about the ease to fly back to OH right at the end of the article. If you were not looking, you missed it. He came during Ajijic's summer, which is a totally different experience. We prefer September.
