This is also on Lakeside Covid 19 Facebook Group. What everyone wants to know is what transpired BEFORE someone starting filming. I suspect that she tried to enter one of the establishments further up and was refused entry without a mask. She's a Karen. I hope the whole truth comes out because Alex (also unmasked) was attacked but was fired for his role in the incident. This video is part of his defense and proves that he was attacked first.

They oughta deport her. The walking over and coughing in the guy's window is basically assault, as is her hauling off and hitting the other guy with her handbag. Ship her back to Florida or whatever Trumpian enclave she came from and blacklist her from ever coming back to Mexico.

fyi, wasn't in Ajijic, was in SAT in front of Tony's Meats and the adjacent restaurant.  I agree with Ferret....no idea what happened before the filming started...it looks as if she is exiting the restaurant in the first frame???

"Karen" spit or coughed on the elderly man in the car, then kicked him when he got out of the car. Later she smacked the bald man with her purse.  She was the first aggressor in the film (though again, not sure what happened prior to the camera rolling).

I abhor violence but if a woman spits, kicks, smacks anyone, she should be held as accountable as a man.

I saw the video on Facebook before it was taken down. It is very disturbing.
My immediate reaction was wanting to punch her in the face. I concluded that might be counterproductive. But, how could bystanders have de-escalated this? The first man she assaulted was elderly and appeared frail. She was bullying him. She might have mental health issues.

And I absolutely do not care what happened before the recording started. No matter what it was, she was out of control, aggressive, and belligerent. No excuse for her behavior.

I looked at the profile of "MichaelB" but his/her profile didn't state which sex he/she was. Anyone know?

I don't know but glad to hear there isn't any banda, fireworks, traffic or rude Americans in Guadalajara........LOL.

Actually Bob, where I live in the metro area, I have not heard blaring banda nor fireworks in the 2 years I have lived here. Now I have not met many Americans here as I do not sit in a bar all day. But now you were spot on about traffic, Lopez Mateos is a bitch, but living in Chicago made me feel at home in the traffic. At least there is more than one road to drive on.

And I agree that had a man done this, someone would have probably called the cops. No reason why a woman should get away with it. And the guy she slammed her bag into just pushed her away. I'd do the same. Not his fault she fell down. He looks like a big guy, he could have easily hurt her had that been his intention.

And slamming her big bag at him like that, she could also have injured him- broken his nose, blinded him, even killed him had it hit him in the temple. She obviously didn't care.

Just got a short video from a friend showing Alex and the Karen side by side. She apologized and they hugged. Now, I want to know if he got his job back.

I wonder if this woman is considering a relocation to another part of Mexico given that just about everyone in this area has seen this video. Her name was being bandied about on Facebook too.

I also saw the complete video as well as 2 separate ones where she returns the next day and asks to speak with him as well as the video they made together where they hugged it out. Absolutely no doubt about it, her behavior was horrible. The gentleman that pushed her, Alex I guess his name is, is on the committee for Ajijic Pueblo Magico. This is not a paid position. And while he may be justified in defending himself against her physical aggression, his initial mistake, in my opinion, was following her outside of the restaurant, she left the restaurant, albeit yelling and being disrespectful but she was no longer on his premises. Fact is, because of his position on the committee he’s held to a higher standard.

1. NOT AJIJIC although rude expat events occur there every day too.
2. At no time was anyone IDed as "American"
3. All the police , snowballs chance in hell of them coming !

And, afterwards, all she has to say, is “oh, I’m sorry” and, for her, it is like it never happened. Reminds me of the many drunks and other drug addicts who contact you to “make amends” because now they are sober and sorry. Yeah. Good for you. I’m glad. Now get the hell out of my face.
I agree with CBob. She should just relocate now.

Again…it is not a job, it’s a volunteer position. Her bad behavior does not eradicate his poor judgment.

The hugs were about a denuncio, assault charges, a visit to the ministerio publico, then a visit to her home by Immigration.  Bye.  Getting into a pissing match with a Mexican National who has a government position is a no brainer.  You lose.  Color me a cynic.

My understanding is that INM is actively looking for her.  Maybe she will be relocated.

This seems unlikely to me.  If she was charged with assault and convicted then maybe she would be deported but the likelihood that they would deport her just because she’s rude and aggressive is highly improbable.  It’s not as easy to get people deported here as some may think, in particular if she’s a permanent resident.

Maybe not deportation but perhaps they will be able to put the fear of God into her.

I truely doubt INM is looking for her. This would have to count as a miracle!
