SIMAPA Payment in Ajijic
A bit slow. About 45 minutes. A few persons with handfuls of bills can really slow down the line.
They don't have a number-machine, so customers have to keep track of who they are behind. When someone new shows up, it's up to whomever had been the previous last person to tell the new arrival that they're after you. It's important as people did not move sequentially in the seating; after awhile newer arrivals were in the front row, while those who were 'next' were near the back.
My bill went up ~ 6 percent.

But 6% AND a 20.38 peso exchange rate makes it bearable, no?

Anyone go from the flat rate to metered water? What did it do to your bill? Up or down?

That was your experience Brigitte. On the coast, with a huge garden and a pool, ours went down. That said, it was new construction and there were no leaks in any pipes.

If you're retired and your income is US dollars. Not everyone is in that situation.
