2nd dose

We need our second dose of Astra-Zeneca. They turned us away the last time because we did not have a bill in our name with us, even though we had their paperwork that indicates that we were due the second dose. Can anyone tell me where we can get it?? I don't care if we have to go to Guad, just need to finish this up. Thanks all.

I believe they will be starting booster shots in this area for those over 60 years old within the next week or so. I imagine they will have to have both AZ and Sinovac available.

If they are doing 'boosters', does one have any thought as to whether or not they may turn away folks who have not had their second.... like the OP?

Sorry but I do not get what the problem is so you are missing a paper , get what they wantand go back with what they want and get vaccinated. If and when they have a third dose go tere and tell them you need a second dose if you are over 60 they will probably give it to you or make an appointment in Guadaljara and get a second shot. You may also want to try the health booth by the old city old and ask them what to do. One way or another you will get vaccinated. but you have to be pushy about it or you will be forgotten and of course it will be your fault not their because they are perfect... That is life here...Good luck .

The problem probably is that we all aren't by DNA pushy or pugnacious, or we all don't have a good grasp of the language, or we all may not have transportation right at our fingertips, or we all aren't completely mobile or .....

true but then it is our problem if we do not  get more pushy  or do not change our ways. The Servitors of the Nation sure do not give a darn if we do not get vaccinated. It is up to us to get organizd and insist on getting what we want or need.

As of dec 1 they are vaccinating the young and the over 60.

they are administrating the second dose of Astreca Zeneca in Guadalajara at the stadium Benito Juarez. You first have to register and they give you an appointment. You may or may not have to give proof of residence in the various cities they are targeting.. IYou will see if the site gives you an appointment or not.. If not go and explain your case at the people who have the booth by the old city hall and they will tell you what you can do. They are pretty helpful.. or were when I went to explain why my husband had not been able to get the second dose..

Everyone will receive Astreca Zenaca no mater what the 2 other doses were. Pretty funny considering that I was told 2 months ago by the Servidores de la Nacion that Mexico did not mix vaccines..
