Second dose of AstraZeneca...

It's official... if you got your first shot of AstraZeneca in the first week of June along with the 50-59 group, then you can get your second shot at the same location from August 10th to August 13th. Bring the same documentation PLUS the receipt you were given when you got the first shot. See you there!

Very busy today, but very organised. Many had a long walk up a hill on a rough road. I am semi handicapped now, with a walker, so they allowed me to be dropped off the handicapped ramp while my wife waited in the lineup. Use the ramp on the left side of the ramp, I think the ramp on the left side is designed for moto cross bikes.

Arrived at 10am. There was about 800 in the line. It moved along. 4 hours start to finish. Still about 800 in the line when I left at 2pm.

We had better luck than CBOB. We arrived at 10 and we able to use the upper parking lot due to handicap. We were out of there before 11:30. Very well organized, but a huge crowd arrived just after we did.

Two things to be aware of:

- They turned away people that didn't have their first shot more than 8 weeks ago.

- They only had about 1000 doses and ran out. They sent about 600 away.

I went there today at 1:30 and left an hour later with the shot in my arm. My timing was lucky and they were super efficient.
