Update on state assistance for disaster

Laguna reported this Morning
Only 42 homes of the 150 affected, in Ajijic due to the torrential rains on October 5, could access the support of the State Fund for Natural Disasters (FOEDEN).
The reason for this is that the Civil Protection of the State Government only has registered damages in only 42 homes, while the city council counts the damages in at least 150 homes.
State support would only be for people who lost all their household items, that is; electrical appliances and severe structural damage to his home, according to the mayor of Chapala, Alejandro de Jesús Aguirre Curiel.
