Partial knee replacement

Do any of the orthopedic doctors here do a partial knee replacement? It is done in the US using robotics that may not be available here. Thanks

What does a partial knee replacement entail? What parts are replaced?

It is basically using artificial material to replace damaged cartilage.

I will be searching for orthopedic surgeons and hardware costs next week. I have bilingual assistant who recently helped his mother in law to get a replacement. He went to Cruz Verde in Guadalajara, met an orthopedic surgeon, then asked if they knew a surgeon who could work from a private clinic, not a hospital, to shortcut the wait times. It was successful. He also told me that competion beween different appliance suppliers is pretty fierce right now and they are offering low prices for direct to the consumer market

I am reading that metal on metal replacements are no longer permitted in the USA.
