Just got turned down by a handyman for a small job, because he got a bigger job. This is happening more frequently than ever, as expat dollars are being massively tossed around.

I used to have a jack of all trades guy: one who could move from weeding the concrete parking area to building a bodega, but not any more.

I need a guy who can source and install a 4x4 piece of lumber in the ground, like we used to do NOB for deck footings. We had these super long spikes to drive into the ground, as opposed to the cement tubing, with a frame on top that would bolt in the 4x4. I want to use my hammock, and I have one tree strong enough to support an end, but I need something for the other end.
