Handyman recommendation
For the past two years I have been using a handyman named Faustino to do many small and medium sized jobs on our property. I have used him for a new roof on one of our casitas, renovating two bathrooms, installing new hot water tanks, trimming several very large trees and installing a rock garden. He speaks very good English and is negotiable on his price. He has several helpers he brings in for the larger jobs. He is also a very accomplished wood worker.

Have been trying to contact Faustino for several weeks, but his phone goes unanswered and his email bounces. He was scheduled to do some repairs, but has been a no-show. Hope he is OK

Not sure. I no longer use him. I've had problems and suggest you seek out someone else.

He is off my list, too. Can't recommend him. We gave hime an 800 peso deposit on materials and now he is nowhere to be found. As the song goes ... "Where have all the handymen gone? Long time passing"

Recommendation for recently used handyman:
Chuy Lopez

Recommended on TOB by 'Angela'. Speaks English, can fix almost anything and reasonable. We used his services within the month. Seems reliable, at least for now.

Yes, I think he has gotten in over is head on a few projects and has some crappy guys working for him. He's best as a one man operation.
