South Side? Empty South Side?

I never hear anything about what's happening on the South Side?  Are people starting to move there or pretty much staying on the North shore?

Seems to me that more people are moving east of Chapala. Also the desirabilty of living in Chapala town has risen at least one star, with rents or prices to match.
