Leon, GTO 10th Annual Hot Air Balloon Festival

I scheduled for Nov. 18 - 21st. In past years, they have attracted about 200 hot air balloons.

The Albuquerque 40th International Balloon Fiesta (largest in the world) kicked off this morning with 550 balloons. Early indications are that they had record opening day crowds and they did set a new world's record by launching 355 balloons in one hour. Many of these same pilots will be participating in Leon. There were 99 "special shape balloons", most of which were made in Brazil at around $100K cost:
