As things go around here, another new business is starting up. Hopefully it will survive as it offers a good service that many can use now or will need down the road. It is a personal alarm system; a 'panic' button with 24 hour bilingual service.

The owner's name is Michael, and Canadian, who has started Vida Alarms, located at Donato Guerra 18, Ajijic (across from Nueva Posada. More information is available. Call 376 766-3500 or see www.VidaAlarms.com

They are also offering sales jobs.

They will be at the LCS health fair on Tuesday, October 11th and Wednesday, October 12th from 10:00 to 1:00.

I added it to my website as it seems to be a service that has lots of benefits for the lakeside population. I can explain it to anyone who might have questions.

You don't need to be old and falling down to use it.
1. Hear some noise outside your house that makes you nervous - they will cll the police or security service.
2. got kids - well it there to handle any emergency and call you at dinner or the movies to alert you.
3. You do fall and can't get up- its there 24/7

There really are many benefits to enhance living here and have a virtual hotline that works even if the power goes off 24/7

I can't recommend this Vida Alarm thing highly enough; a friend of mine had it less than 30 days and tripped over one of her dogs and came to consciousness lying sprawled on her steps. She pushed the button and they did exactly what they were supposed to do.

She got a concussion, stitches, and is still dealing with a broken hand -- but is alive!

Merry

p.s. NO NASTY DOG COMMENTS PLEASE
