Canned creamed corn

Where to buy at lakeside?

Walmart

None at Walmart today.

I've never seen it at Wal-Mart. Probably SuperLake.

Last time I searched SuperLake they either didn't have it, or the import price was so extreme I refused to buy it. Now we have Gourmet Garage and Pancho's, but I doubt it is the kind of thing any of us look for often enough to tell you where. Failing finding it, online recipes are pretty simple, and that's what I do now.

It is for a special dish made with regular canned corn and creamed corn. Wanted to make it for the holidays.

I swear I saw it at Gourmet Garage on Saturday. Looked at it and dreamed, briefly, of cheddar cheese and corn chowder.

We can check there.

We often make corn pudding which calls for both whole corn and creamed. In order to have the creamed we used frozen corn and mashed it with some extra cream or half/half until it was mush.

It is sold at HEB in Leon.
I know it is far, but maybe you have a courier.

This pandemic does have its little inconveniences, doesn't it?
Maybe the day will come when only the basics will be available; like corn, beans and squash, at the weekly tianguis only, and in limited supply. Some places are running short of mobile morgues, and some of those bodies are probably farmers, truck drivers, customs agents, etc.
