English keyboard
I think English keyboards here can be hard to find unless you import one. I saw a new Dell English keyboard last week at a store in Tizapán el Alto. If anyone needs one I can pick it up for you next trip this coming week.

Re: English keyboard
Actually there are hardly any English keyboards on amazon.com.mx that aren't cordless and way overpriced...

Re: English keyboard
When I got a new laptop at Best Buy in Guad., I got a Spanish keyboard which I wanted, but every time I shut off the computer and restart, it goes to English, and I have manually set it back to Spanish. No big deal but mildly aggravating.

Re: English keyboard
I never could get Win 10 to work 100% with a Spanish keyboard. I ended up downloading the Spanish Accents Capslocks program found in this link and it is ezy pzy now to type in accent marks without memorizing a lot of hot key moves.

Re: English keyboard
I cannot stress enough how important it can be to make sure everyone has a corded keyboard and mouse as backup. When a cordless stops working, it's impossible to easily tell why: batteries? device? WiFi connection? Failed USB transmitter? Computer?
I also get lots of calls when people think their computer has frozen, when in reality it's their keyboard or mouse connection. One quick way to tell if a corded keyboard is working is to press the "Windows key". That brings up the start menu. Cannot do that with a cordless if it is not working. Corded keyboards and mice rarely fail.

Re: English keyboard
Mike is absolutely correct on this and I learned it from him years ago. I have a back up corded English keyboard and need to buy another corded mouse.
About three laptops ago, my keyboard failed. You know the scenario... it gets crap under the keys even if you clean it on a regular basis. I managed to keep it going for another year by plugging a corded keyboard into the USB port. It's awful to be in the position of having to buy a computer in desperation. I like to take my time and find the best deal... and/or wait for the best deal based on what I want in it.
Be prepared.
