Tech stupid here. Anyone have a link for a simple way like four steps or less to install the Brave Browser for Chromebook?

Yep I read that but not too much confidence. Maybe if I read a few more times and write down some notes I will give it a try. Thanks for the link. I have Brave on my tablet now for a few days and like it.
Fast!

Re: Brave Browser Linux Version for Chromebook
I get intimidated by "computer speak" so I usually have two "windows" open where I can copy and paste from one and refer back for the next step.
However, I have no idea if that's even possible with Chrome. Just a thought.

Re: Brave Browser Linux Version for Chromebook
To run Brave on a Chromebook, you have to install another operating system: Linux. Linux "terminal" is a dark-ages tool and should never have to be seen by anyone but true geeks. For one operating system to require another operating system to get a program to work is just ludicrous. That being said, a Chromebook is simply a Web browser packaged in a laptop. Not really an operating system at all.
I predict you will probably give up on Brave in a couple of weeks anyway, once you experience its shortcomings compared to most other browsers. But only hands-on will give you that knowledge.

Instead of going thru the Linux terminal, is it possible to install Brave as a mobile app in Chromebook? (Excuse my ignorance.)

I haven't got a Chromebook, so I can't tell you what it will be like, but you are correct: Google Play has it.
