Telmex closed until Monday Ajijic

Anyone know why.

Virus? Were they open previously?

Does Telmex automatic machine take cash like CFE's machine does ??

Phone and internet essential business. I was going to the hardware store so didn’t read the sign. Any Telmex sign readers.

It works the same as CFE machine!

They have been closed this week due, obviously, to Covid situation. I was there Monday (no sign). Sign showed up on door Tuesday and says "hasta nuevo aviso". Jaja. In other words, until they re-open. Along with their 800 phone number and website, the sign had a cell # by which you could theoritically contact them via whatsapp.

I did need to do something in the Telmex office for work with a real human...and ended up going through a back channel. I also needed to pay for my own personal service, but there was a line at the cajero to pay...so I skipped that and paid at OXXO.

What about the drive in window in the back?

Vehicular gate was shut when I was there.
