MRI at Hospital San Antonio

Does the new hospital in San Antonio have an MRI facility as yet?

I know they have the machine but didn't have the staff to run it (or something like that). Give them a call.

That's what I heard some time ago.  Made the call: (376)689-0911. They have the machine, but will not be operational for one to two months from now. I guess the closest is still Guadalajara.

Thats what they said 6 months ago.......lol.

Maybe MRI techs are hard to find?

Or maybe actually having the machine is wishful thinking.

I have now heard three specialists critical of the digital scans coming out of that hospital. Be wary please.

Every time I asked, I was told that they hadn't got anyone to run the MRI yet, but we hope to have someone in 1 to 2 months. And I have been hearing this for more than six months.

CHILLIN Now you have me confused, because I understood that they had never had a specialist there to run the MRI. But that would explain it. Maybe they never found a competent operator to run the MRI

They haven't done any MRI's there yet. They do Ultrasounds and CAT scans.

Before I left lakeside March 22 I heard they had set up the apparatus and had blown a component! Don't know how true that is!
