Observations From House Arrest
I:
- have advanced 4:20 up to somewhere around 12:20
- am grateful for e-libraries, internet, Netflix, forums like this, FB to visit with old friends
- have begun practicing the ukulele again
- have cleaned my own house and appreciate my maid even more
- declare hammocks a critical necessity for well-being
- am holding out hope that this pandemic will result in people around the globe waking up and taking climate change seriously

Still running business as usual at this point. We have guests coming and going. Will stay away from crowds such as the local bars and restaurants though.

Re: Observations From House Arrest
At 6am drove by H-E-B grocery store. There was a line of about 100 people with grocery carts being kept in line by a police man and waiting for their turn to go in.
Wow! These are historic times. I hope this will not become the norm.

No, probably won't be the norm. Probably the norm will be closed stores.
6AM is apparently not the best time to go to the store. Maybe late in the day. Buying food is a real dilemma.
I am supposed to receive my first home delivery produce box this afternoon from Muyaru. I will report back.

Online produce business with a FB business. Maybe a web page too. Try going through FB. They requested contact with PM.

Mi Ranchita Cremeria in Chapala has a good plan. You text them with your order, park in their parking lot across the street, stay in your car, and they will bring your groceries out to you in your car. Excellent idea.

Re: Observations From House Arrest
5 days means nothing.. check Italy , France or Spain where people have been closed for longer than that and the virus is not slowing down and the quarantine ther eis a whole lot more severe.

5 days is a ridiculous joke! Alfaro's magical timeframe. Not funny.

Re: Observations From House Arrest
I went to breakfast at Scallions today at 8 AM only one other person was there. A few minutes before they brought out my oatmeal, the owner showed up and said we are closed for the next five days. I got my oatmeal and as I left I could see that they were closing down per orders from the government.
