Disappointing that AMLO has not taken an aggressive approach to restricting air travel from the US into Mexico. It would not surprise me with all of the international travel we see at lakeside amongst the expat group that this area will have more deaths per capita than other areas of Mexico.

When it comes to the elderly with depressed immune systems I always take the opinion to "err on the side of caution." Arrogance does not bode well.

I think it is miniscule compared to all the Mexican and Mexican-Americans that travel back and forth visiting family and friends in both countries. Or the thousands that live along the frontier, that cross the border each way on a daily basis.

What is the current situation in Ajijic? Many have gone back but is it still crowded with snowbirds and the recent yuppie arrivals?

A lot have been run over on the Carretera as they are everywhere trying to cross over the highway.
