San Antonio TX Consulate office
We will be obtaining our temporal visa and since we are currently living in San Antonio, I’m wondering if anyone has any experience using this office or would we be better off driving to Laredo?
Thanks
Thanks

I have no experience with San Antonio, TX, but suggest you give that consulate a try. It should be easy enough, especially for a Residente Temporal application. It would save you a lot of driving. Call them, or go online, to request an appointment and their document requirements.

We have used both San Antonio and Austin. Both were painless. Better parking in Austin and also less crowded than San Antonio. We needed an appt with the San Antonio Consulate but the Austin Consulate was walk in. The Austin Consulate is on the Southside on Hwy 71 East of IH35.

Thanks so much for that info and it’s in a convenient location since we are on the north side of San Antonio.
Much appreciated

Re: San Antonio TX Consulate office
I got my Resident Temporal application accomplished in downtown San Antonio mex consulate in Jan. They insist on an appointment, which after hours of trying could not get. Mexico City appt center never picks up & other numbers didn't work. So went anyway, place EMPTY, so begged for appt & got for next day Then a 3rd day,'cause working after 3 pm seems to be overtime... If Austin is really walk in, could be worth the drive. Riverwalk parking expensive. 'Mexican way' requires patience in any event, no matter where

Our lawyer said to just show up. Each temp visa application took two trips in Austin but that was two years ago. The San Antonio permanent visa application was one trip provided you have all of your documents. It may all have changed now. Buena suerte.
