My taxes went up from $2600 to $2900 this year. About a 2 hour wait.

Were you able to go to the website and see what it was before going downtown?
I usually check before I go but now it seems to be out of order?

No I didn't check first. Just take enough money for about a 12% increase. Not sure if all property's are affected.

Well let's hope they put that 15% to work fixing the crappy cobblestone streets in just about every town around here.

My property taxes went up 1.31% from last year.

The new style receipt also states the area of construction (casa) which is 11.02% less than the MLS listing when we bought the house nearly 4 years ago...???

The MLS on my house was way off and so was the tax bill, I had the house remeasured and they lowered the square meter on the tax ll. The realty is that it is still off if only covered areas are supposed to show up.. They incuded a brick patio that s not covered and the pool.. as well as a palapa that is coevered with palm...I gave up...

Went in today to pay property taxes. Somehow the building area grew by 25%. My manifest of construction corresponds to the previous square meters that were paid for all the previous payments. I understand that there was an increase on the rate of square meters, but this does not affect the building area. Something isn't right here.
