2016 property taxes

We paid our 2016 property taxes today.
We were in and out in 20 minutes.
Our taxes were up 30% over last year.

House up 30% but not so bad with a 17.40 exchange; Water bill up 5%; Auto lower.

Here in Joco there is no "old folk" discount unless you are a naturalized citizen'

Three hour wait to pay all three contributions.

Can one use an INAPAM card to get a discount on 2016 Auto Registration?

I use a Capital one 360 debit card....when used at designated ATMs I am not charged by my bank nor the ATM....

Inapam cards are not accepted for a discount on auto registration...early registration gets you a 15% discount in all of Jalisco

Boy I can't wait to see what the the mod on TOB says when he finds out taxes have gone up another 30%. Let's see now...on my house that would mean my taxes would be about 3700 pesos after discount for early payment. That's just over $200 US. On our last house (in California) which was at that time double the value of our house here in SAT, we paid $7200 US in 2001. A couple of hundred doesn't seem like such a bad deal to me, potholes or no potholes.

Previous year's tax payment receipt.

Refrendo in Chapala....NO!   15% for early payment, to the end of Jan. 
Drivers license....YES!  50%

Paid predial on two properties (residences) today, one in Chula Vista, the other in SAT.
The amount was exactly the same as last year, to the centavo, no increase.

Paid my car registrations, property taxes and renewed my LCS membership all by noon!

Took me longer to find parking and walk than the actual registration/tax process. Longest wait was for LCS renewal but I'm pleased to see they're now staggering renewals on members birthdays.

Property taxes were only up 2%. Yahoo.

I paid property tax and water this week and both were exactly the same as last year to the centavo.

Infesting. Folks are reporting no change, small changes and large increases in property taxes in the same municipality.

I think some of those reports are for Jocotepec.

I was told there was not increase of property tax this year or water fee. I paid the same thing as last year.

Same as last year in Chapala.

That is what the paper announced.
