I have recently had total hip-replacement surgery here in Mexico. My post-op recuperation is not going so well. Still a lot of pain after more than a month. My doctor tells me this is normal. I am wondering if anybody has had the same surgery (here in Mexico) and how they are doing. If so, I would sincerely like to talk with them.
Does anybody know of such a person? Please help.

If you don't hear from anyone go get a second opinion from another doctor or specialist.

Where did you get this done? Who did the surgery?
I think you need a second opinion.

I recently had a friend that had her second of two surgeries and had no pain with either one. Second opinion needed.

Yes, you need a second opinion. NOW.
My hubby had both hips replaced albeit some twenty years apart... one in Canada when he was 50 and the other here in Mexico when he was 71. He promised to dance with me for my 60th birthday and he did... exactly one month after the surgery.
