Using your phone as a hotspot is not the direct cause of using up your allotted Internet data. Using image-heavy apps is. For example, videos from YouTube. TelCel even specifies that Facebook use if free. But that may be misleading, if they don't count images and videos while using Facebook.

I am surprised Caligirl108 that you have bad internet in Riberas with Telmex. I get 20 mbps down and 4 up... and I believe that ComputerGuy gets 40 mbps down.
Where, in Riberas, are you located?
