He ate a leftover cookie and they wanted him to do one month of detox, then the second month was a blackout month where he wouldn't be allowed any contact with the outside world. It sounds more like they wanted the cash for forcing him to go into treatment he didn't need, then isolating him from the world again, so they could try and indoctrinate him some more. So instead of doing a six month program, he would do nine.
