I know someone who was a patient there and liked it very much, and has also experienced Mayo clinic, so would think they had a good hospital to compare it with.

I can't comment on the hospital... but the reviews that have come in with respect to health care quality in Lakeside/Guad area have been resoundingly good...
My only reservation would be the language/communication issue... for me, it means I just hafta work on my Spanish ;)

A few years back we had ocasion to rush a young lady to the San Juan Hospital from Jocotepec, just after her water broke. From what I saw of this hospital, I would say that it would rank right up there with any first rate hospital in N/A < and there was no problem at all with the language. There was no communication issue at all.

In the event of an emergency you'd want to be clear....

I wouldn't want ta admit myself to a hospital to get a toenail removed, and after waking up, finding out I had a nut removed... you know what I mean?

I have heard only good things about this hospital. I think it is one of the top five hospitals in GDL and comparable to the best in the States. Zoey

That is good to hear. My insurance covers me there Blue Cross.

Yes, also Jardin, but this is what was there and I thought it was better than nothing.
