Am I bound my an offer to buy that I signed legally binding in Mexico if it was written in English, Nothing in Spanish was signed..

Never had a problem with a Realtor or rental agent here although I'm sure there are a few bad apples but for the most part I think they are good.

Some people just seem to be born to have trouble or perceive they have trouble, especially some foreigners, when they come to Mexico.

And some people don't pay attention to the fact that there are no disclosure laws re real estate in Mexico like they have in the U.S.

My guess is that, if you signed an offer and made a deposit, you can kiss the deposit goodbye if you do not proceed with the purchase. I do doubt that you could be forced to close.

My opinion is:   You are absolutely correct, no matter whether it´s written in Spanish or English.
That´s why they have court appointed official translators.
