Reset the device. The default password will (should) be restored.

Yes, it should, but it doesn't...did power cycle and also a pin reset, no luck.

Had the device failed before needing to access it? Does it provide your workstation/laptop an IP? Can you ping the gateway? Which should be 192.168.1.254.

He won't be able to ping the IP unless either the Ethernet is connected or the WiFi is connecting.

Telmex (Mexico) helped replace the SSID and a new password.
