Count your change - carefully!
Just had an "experience" at Wal-Mart....shorted $100MX. The checker -not at all friendly- handed me my change and took off....by the time I counted it,she was not to be seen. So I told the girl that had replaced her about the shortage and she got a supervisor, who eventually got another supervisor and by then they had found the girl. They had her count out her till inviting of 4 of them and then handed me the $100. Be careful.....

Had the same 100 peso short change pulled on me on Tuesday. When I pointed out the error the change was immediately provided. No hesitation.

And I’m sure she didn’t lose her job either.

Re: Count your change - carefully!
Change your 500 bills at Superlake. Then when u go to Walmart, bring your coin purse & stand there & use as many 1 & 2 peso coins as you can.. And best solution of all... don't shop at Walmart.. or keep it under 100 pesos. Soriana people are nicer, honest, friendlier & clearly appreciate your business. The Walmart people are sullen, resentful & most unwilling to help. In the 5 years I've been shopping Lakeside, this experience at Walmart has not changed an iota. So many changes lakeside, good & bad, but Walmart employee attitude has not. Comes from the top down..

I had the same problem. I was shorted 50 pesos a week ago. I stood there and counted my change and after slowly counting and recounting the 50p was handed to me with no hesitation.
Someone had a few days earlier mentioned a particularly pretty girl who had pulled the scam on him. It described the cashier I got so I counted my change carefully which I rarely do. Thank you anonymous poster.

Yes The cashier who shorted me the 100 pesos was female, young and attractive.

NEVER go to any register when attended by the cranky youngish woman with hair that is a dark pink/light red. She has ripped me off twice now and I suspect the reason she was recently moved from the front to the pharmacy is that there have been complaints. The first time she didn't return my gift card that still had around $200 pesos on it and just this week in the pharmacy she managed to palm and make disappear a $500 note.

That sounds like the gal that tried to get my $$ too! Longish multi-colered, straight hair....rather sullen.

Why would anybody not count their change? Even totally honest people can make mistakes.
I won´t try their case at the checkout register (guilty or innocent), but I will count the change.
