La Quinta now charges

I know a lot of us driving with pets use La Quinta hotels because they are pet friendly and do not charge. Well, those days are over. Since Wyndham took them over, it is up to the individual hotel, and so far they all want another US$20. I've made a fuss, and it's been waived, but that won't work for long.

So, forget LQ, and pick any place you like that accepts your pets.
